Julia Thomas joined Douglas School Nutrition as a Food Service Assistant in
2008. After a few months working she was promoted to Assistant Manager for
Factory Shoals Elementary and then South Douglas Elementary. Julia
completed the Manager in Training Program in June of 2011 and became the
Nutrition Manager at Bright Star Elementary School from 2011-2019. Julia
then moved up to manager at New Manchester High School in 2019 to
present. She is also a part of the School Nutrition Leadership team. She
loves working for School Nutrition because she gets to work with the most
outstanding caring, dedicated people she has ever met. She enjoys ensuring
all students have a tasty, healthy meal every day. In Julia’s spare time, she
enjoys spending time with friends and family, Baking and being outdoors. |
