School Café Online Payments
For your convenience, DCSS offers an online meal payment system called SchoolCafe. You can access the platform at www.schoolcafe.com Using this system provides several benefits for parents, including
allowing them to:

• Visit the website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• View account balances and student purchase history for free
• Receive email notice when an account balance is low for free
• End lost or stolen money
• Set up hassle-free automatic payments
• Access your account from any internet-enabled computer
• Highly secure
• Toll-free phone and email customer support
• Includes a 5% convenience fee per transaction; $20 minimum that can be divided between siblings
Charge and Refund Policies
Charge Policy
Please ensure that your child has money for meals each day. The allowable charge limit for Elementary and Middle School students is equal to the price of 2 full pay lunches at their school. If your elementary or middle school child exceeds the charge limit, he/she will be provided an alternate meal for lunch. No alternate meal with be provided for breakfast. All charges should be paid back immediately. High school students and adults will not be allowed to charge meals and will not be offered an alternate meal. A la carte purchases cannot be charged and will not be allowed if a child owes a charge.
Insufficient Funds Check Policy
After we receive two NSF checks for a family, we will no longer accept any checks for the students in that family for the duration of their attendance in Douglas County Schools.
